Buffy Back WITHOUT Joss? Ent. Weekly & Hollywood Reporter

A temporary board while I'm working out issues with the real WD.

The posts made here will not appear on the real WD when it re-opens.

Please note that I won't be providing any technical support for this board, as I would prefer to focus my attention on fixing the other board. So, if you're confused by anything, just try to figure things out, search the phpBB forums, ask other users for help, or just bear with it.

Hmph.
I know, let's call it "The Kendra Chonicals"

Then, no matter whether the movie sucks or not, everyone's happy. Because if it's bad (or good) people can simply say, "Well, it all took place in a parallel universe, so it doesn't count!"

That would actually be hysterical. That's it, you're writing the movie.

Yes, Ms. Jupiter was a suspect up until she preordered The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide.

(I jest, but... this could actually be true!! Too many exclamation marks? [doh])

I have that T-shirt. I wear it at least twice a week.

Clearly, IT IS NOT DOING ITS JOB.

Here's what Tony Head had to say about it:
“I wouldn’t want to see it, no,” Head admits. “The Kuzuis didn’t do a great job on the movie the first time around. It was Joss’ script at the age of 19, but they changed a lot of it. They said, ‘Look, we know best and we know how to make this movie,’ and it became quite schlocky and high camp.” ..."The bottom line is if a movie was ever to be made, it should be made with Joss Whedon, whether it’s a retrospective or not. But it would be madness to do it without him. [The Kazuis] have the rights to because they have the rights to the original movie, but it should be interesting to see. It may be a bit like watching a car wreck.”

I'm out, then :D

Unless "The Kazuis" want the buffy reboot to be schlocky* like beverly hills 90120 the new class, or saved by the bell the new class, then, they really should listen to the fans before confirming any movie.... as most fans probably want God Joss involved.

(*ASH is my idol. I felt compelled to use the word schlocky, even if the word is naughty. Is it? ...)
