A temporary board while I'm working out issues with the real WD.
The posts made here will not appear on the real WD when it re-opens.
Please note that I won't be providing any technical support for this board, as I would prefer to focus my attention on fixing the other board. So, if you're confused by anything, just try to figure things out, search the phpBB forums, ask other users for help, or just bear with it.

!!!
This is exactly the same thing I did Friday.
I really could have used some cinnamon rolls when I watched BG on Friday.
What really sucks is that I recorded it on my new DVR. I missed a few minutes and missed an important plot point and was going to rewatch it the on Saturday, but my DVR broke and I had to return it. So now I have a new DVR with no BG on it.

I don't watch BSG. (Yet. I will watch it. Just not until it's all the way over.) But I saw the most recent episode advertised on Hulu, so perhaps you can fill in your blanks with that, Ghost.
I'm liking my job, and generally happy with life these days, despite my husband having been laid off indefinitely last week. The same day that happened, a friend's brother almost died, so that kind of put things in perspective for me.
I also wish that I had had cinnamon buns on Friday, but I spent Saturday making really good food and I have awesome lunches for two weeks, so that's good.
Huge up: I got tenure. I got several papers published this year and graduated more students.
Ups: I did a three-day mountain bike stage race in the fall and did much better than expected. I'm in the best shape of my life and seem to have lost about ten pounds. I made lots of new friends mountain biking this year, and got much better at it (the biking, I mean).
Down: I'm now wondering if it's too late to think about babies (I'm 36).
Big down: My best friend's four-year-old daughter died of cancer over the summer.
Huge down: My aunt and uncle, who I was very close to, died in a small plane crash over the holidays.
I got "exceeds expecations" at my annual review - which is next to impossible and is a step on the ladder towards becoming IMPORTANT. I think my boss actually wants to marry me. He couldn't have been more positive. Oh, and I was given an award by my peers and senior management for being brilliant.
So naturally, I have applied to be a primary school teacher, which would mean living with my parents for 9 months and working my arse off. But hey.
My hair is now a really dark, shiny chocolatey colour.
just got back from Israel... was there for the entire length of the "war" as it "began" as I flew over and the "cease-fire" was declared as I took off to leave

So... it was all your fault. I just KNEW the WD had something to do with this mess.
