Pre-party post - anyone need info from me? And Info I want

Hello all (well mostly hello people who plan on coming to my party & a big raspberry to everyone else).

It dawns on me that my party is 11 days away & maybe I should be starting to prepare for it. So first up, I thought I'd check with those coming to make sure they had all the information (address, phone number, name, etc) they need from me. If you don't, just send me a message here & I'll reply with all that kind of stuff.

Secondly I thought I'd ask folks who are coming: what's your preference when it comes to drinks & food? I don't promise to supply everything, but I'm likely to do a better job if I have a suggested list to start with

Thirdly - hmmm, I'm sure there should be at least a thirdly if not a fourthly, but I can't think of anything else right at the moment. If you can think of something I should be mentioning, let me know .

Edited to add: Oy! It has been brought to my attention that I haven't precisely specified the party date for the locals who aren't staying here - that would be Saturday.

Drinks and food? Well I am planning on stocking up (with my own pennies!) on all the delicious things I would like to eat before the party itself. Can I request, at some point before/during/after, a trip to Trader Joes? That will be amazing. I left my ridiculously-sized tub of cinnamon cookies at your house last time and I was utterly BEREFT when I realised.

As for drink, if I can pick up something alcoholic (and some Pepsi - regular full fat Pepsi, none of this "diet" or "Max" bollocks (Oh hai Dave!)) I will be sorted. I was going to bring my own but airports are totally insane about letting you carry liquids these days, so I'll just wait until I get to yours, I suppose.

Is there anything you want us to bring for you?! We can bring lovely assorted goodies!

Finally, I will be bringing my own pillow because I am just that way inclined. OH and my knitting!

Hello! I'm planning on coming down on one of the weekend days, if you'll have me. Which day will be better? Is there anything planned or will it just be drunken shenanigans all weekend? I'm leaning towards Saturday, but either day should be fine. I think I'm going to be volunteering for PP Saturday morning but should be done by 2ish and ready to party!

As far as drinks.... Coke! I don't want to get stuck drinking Caz's Pepsi. Ewww....Pepsi. [tongue]

Also, give me a call if there's anything you want me pick up on my way. You'll have your hands full with rowdy WDers so I'd be happy to stop and get extra ice/chips/drinks or whatever you need.

I have your address. (Somewhere. I think, anyway. No. Wait. I checked, and I definitely have it.) Do I need your phone number? The proudly independent part of me says no, but the small-town Southern girl who hasn't been on a plane since 1999 says, "Yeah, that would probably be a good idea just in case."

I have no real preferences as far as food and drink, unless everything is laden with mushrooms. But even then, I'm pretty good at picking them off; that is, I have a system. But I wouldn't mind tagging along with Caz for a trip to Trader Joe's. (We don't have those here!)

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the information for the Super Shuttle again. Mostly, I just want to know if it's actually called the Super Shuttle or if I made that name up in my head, because I need to do some research to plan my LAX-to-CasaCassy trip. And I have a couple of questions about my arrival time, but I'll be PMing you about that.

Also, I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.

MdmeAlbertine is totally right in that vodka jello shots are required. And s'mores. I shall be following the lovely CAz's example and buying me own stuff, inclusding booze. And Diet Coke. Oh, and I also have to buy aHostess Fruit pie so I can cross that off the list of 100 Things I sHould have trieed. There.
