LHC restarted

Proton beam sent through the LHC as part of restart procedures. The world was destroyed shortly afterwards.

I'd better cancel the milk and papers.......and buying that extra large box of tea bags was a waste of money. :(

Nah, Gillies said the scientists are being very conservative. Large Hadron Collider is a conservative name for the Superconducting Super Collider. We're in safe hands if it's super super. If they were using some cheap SSC lite version, I'd be more concerned...
