Since we don't have the REAL WD to check the party forum and I've forgotten who were definite, I'm curious.

I would love to and most likely will but I can't say 100% yet.

It would be great to see you. Of course, we only live about an hour apart so I think it's funny that we would actually travel across the country to see each other.

Me! And I will drag along Will and Sam, and Rich if I can manage it. (We've dragged him to every other party at Cassie's, so it shouldn't be a problem.)

Unfortunately, I wasn't saving the WD party post (or taking notes from it), so most of this is from my very spotty memory. I'm pretty sure the following folks are absolutely committed (i.e. they've either bought plane tickets, or they've scheduled vacation days, or I've seen them since I've decided to have the party & they said they'd come right to my face & who could lie to me in person ?)

Others have expressed interest (particularly if I let some of them pet my yarn stash ) & I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll make it. I'm hoping some (*cough*Bally*cough*) find that their school schedules allow them to come - once they find out what the fall schedules are, of course.

I talked to my cousin yesterday and we've decided to stay at a motel this trip (makes it a bit more comfortable for my cousin since I'm the only one she knows). I googled hotels and motels around you and we'll be staying at the Sun 'N Sands Motel on PCH, located between 11th and 12th Streets. I haven't called to make reservations yet and they don't seem to have their own website but the price listed was under $100/night. We'll be arriving sometime on Friday evening. I arrive in San Diego around 1pm and we'll be leaving right from the airport. We'll be staying until Sunday.

Also, there's a Ren Faire in Escondido the weekend of Oct 31st-Nov 2nd if any of your guests are interested and Debbie and I will be there all weekend in Faire garb. She belongs to a "pirate" group so we'll be camping on the grounds.

I booked my flight! I will be there from Friday Oct 24 to Mon Oct 27!!!
