What food do you/ would you like to take on a picnic?

Off the top of my head (and after a long day at uni) I'd fancy some;

Spanish tortilla, hard boiled eggs, good pasta salad with feta cheese and sunblush tomato, a really refreshing salad with spinach leaves, roasted vegetables and a balsamic dressing, antipasto with good quality meats and buffalo mozzarella, crusty baguettes, salted butter, brie and cheddar.

Afterwards, brownies. Because I am currently fixated with brownies.

Oh, and champagne. And elderflower cordial, and loads of chilled white wine.

Um, I think I'll just come to your picnic, please!

As long as you are there, I wouldn't need anything else

Thus far it's Ghost, me, bettie, and a whole load of wine.

Oh, can it be somewhere really awesome like in a really sunny meadow in the South of France by a river? With lots of poppies in the meadow. And really relaxing classical music. And lanterns as the sun goes down.

I really should host a picnic. After winning the lottery.

Any other ideas?

Well, if we're in a French meadow then all the ladies should be wearing long white dresses, right?

I'd like some crusty French bread with some some Camembert, Brie and Crescenza cheeses.

And a few beers keeping cool in the river.


We gotta make this happen.

I want to go! I will not bring anything, because I have six more weeks to milk this "I'm pregnant and can't carry anything" thing. But I plan on eating your bread and cheese, so bring extra.

Mmm, I'm just here for the cheese.


And the wine.


And gropes.

Not a lot of poppies, I must admit but there actually is a river down there. And there are not often cows.
And there is a nice swimming-pool by the house.
