As I am sure most of you have heard, the Texas board of education just passed a ruling that prevents the requirement that schools teach the "strengths and weaknesses" of scientific theory, the main clause that allowed (or forced) the schools to teach intelligent design. Of course, the article I read ended with this quote, "Federal courts have ruled against teaching public schools teaching creationism and intelligent design, which holds that life is so complex that it must have come from an intelligent higher power."
So if teaching ID violates federal law, how can it be taught in TX schools?
