I have been unconditionally accepted into my university of choice, to to primary school training!
I did it, you guys! A foot on the ladder of my life's ambitions!
Thank you for your support, and bettie, you are a wise woman indeed for having a good feeling. All of my friends are like "I TOLD YOU!!!"
I have a really tough but interesting year ahead of me, and I'm so so glad.
Any words of wisdom or advice?
What have you done in the past that has daunted you, but you've done it and it's been well worth it?
Again thank you so much. I love this place!

Congratulations!
Since you asked for advice, remember:
You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.
Unless they are really drunk.

Good luck, Ma'am. Advice? Be strict from the off, and then you can ease up later. And that's just with your course instructor!
I have a sympathetic ear, a few ideas on how to teach Maths, and an e-mail address.
More good luck.

Congrats! Though, I didn't really have a doubt about you getting in. From going to 8 years of college, the only advice I have is to do what the teacher wants. Do they want an essay completley agreeing with their point of view? Give it to them! College is a time for getting good grades, not making a political stand in class. No one likes the person who makes the class stay the whole time just to debate.
That's not true: I have more advice: Try to be organized at the beginning of the semester and do as much as you can ahead of time. When previous advice fails, learn how to BS and how to write an 8 page paper in 30 minutes or less. Do the readings ahead of time and talk in class. Teachers will start thinking of you as 'a good student' and you'll get better grades by default. Don't freak. You'll be fine. You're amazing!
Yay!

Sure- stick a shiv in somebody your first day there. Make sure it kills them, or at least puts them in an iron lung or something- don't want any messy payback later on. By proving your ruthlessness early you'll have less chance of getting buggered in the showers by skinheads. Oh man- you are so lucky I was here to tell you this now. Sure wish I was as fortunate.
I'm certain you'll be fine though.

Aaaaahhhh Ouuuuuuhhhh!!!!!!!
(yes, still howling when something good happens)
Yeah you! Congrats and [hugs]
Don't forget to make some friends and get drunk along the road.
Isn't what school/college and other learning courses are for?

Oh that's brilliant advice! I have honed the art of BS (which is a fine and noble art) over time, and am sure it will come to the fore during this course.
Thank you so much!
I can't stop using exclamation marks because I'm excited!

I thought getting buggered in the showers was one of the perks?
