at what point is it too obsessed?

So, I was at the wedding of one of my good friends from high school this weekend. He was one of the people that I introduced to buffy... and angel, firefly, and dr. horrible. His wife also is a fan of the shows, and the collective works of Joss Whedon play a part in their relationship (as stated by the best man, who I dont know). In fact, all of his friends from HS that were there were people that I introduced to the buffyverse. So, a couple of us got the crazy idea of bad horse'in the groom, which we did as the party was ending.

Which leads to the question of, is there a point where this obession becomes unhealty? (and if so, have I reached it?)

OMG I never heard of Bad Horse Sniping before! It's the neatest thing ever!

And, NO, there is no such thing as being too obsessed.

But there is a distinct possibility that I am the wrong person to answer that question.

We used the Buffy theme as the recessional when we got married last year, so I may not be the right person to ask either, but I think and your friends are still on the healthy side of obsession.

My friends wife is INSANELY obsessed with Harry Potter. I mean INSANELY. They had a Harry Potter themed reception.

I know... I DJed... in a Snape outfit... there are pictures...

Anyone that ever heard my Harry Potter rant at the last SoCal party would understand just how funny that whole deal was...
