WDer Status Update

A temporary board while I'm working out issues with the real WD.

The posts made here will not appear on the real WD when it re-opens.

Please note that I won't be providing any technical support for this board, as I would prefer to focus my attention on fixing the other board. So, if you're confused by anything, just try to figure things out, search the phpBB forums, ask other users for help, or just bear with it.

WDer status update...

14:42 EDT
PommeVerte is sleepy today, she went to see Linkin Park at the Quebec Summer Festival last night.
Even though it was raining, the show was awesome!
Good thing today is slow.

Friday, my sister gave birth to a very cute little boy. :D

And PommeVerte is also watching the 3rd DVD of Firefly these days.

Next show, Sir Paul McCartney on July 20th, who comes to Quebec City to celebrate our 400!

2 minutes later...
PommeVerte answered the phone to yet another "you downloaded this from our website, we were wondering if you needed our assistance for... bla bla bla" call.

All right. What is it with people referring to themselves in the third person?

I may just be cranky because my quads hurt like a bitca from trying out a new gym that relies heavily on kettle weights.

Eileen can't believe she only just found out about the temporary forum! She has been clicking the forum URL in her favourites which takes her to her Control Panel, and not the Main Index, and so has been getting the error page for the past week. WAAAAH!

It's a think you can do in Facebook, update your status to let people know what your doing eg Eileen is a muppet and can't believe she's been missing out on WD goodness for the past week!

Podgy went to a bra fitting yesterday, and while she wishes it didn't cost $140 for a bra that actually works properly, she's absolutely thrilled with her purchase!

As a famous cave slayer once said - "Buffy want beer" "Buffy strong" "Buffy get beer" "Buffy tired"

Cave slayers facebook update - "Buffy got beer. Foamy"

Poor Gandalf, you were out in the wilderness for so long!

What's a kettle weight? I have visions of you lifting the things they use to make kettle corn (popcorn) at country fairs.

Are you serious?

Is it made of gold?

$140 = nearly £70.

Sam_Spade is very pleased tha he doesn't have to wear bra's, well, not yet at least. ;)
When you're slapped, you'll take it and like it.

One bra?
Yup. It's larger size*, and specially made, and actually supports me properly without underwire (which is very exciting).

I would typically spend about $50 on a bra and have it last me about 6 months. This one is guaranteed to last two years provided I take care of it properly, so in the long run it's actually a savings, it just doesn't feel like it right now.

*40FF!
